Our Mission
A QR code is a link you cannot read. You point your camera at a square, and whatever is hidden inside it opens. That is the whole problem, and nobody had fixed it. So we did.
The Problem We're Solving
You cannot read a QR code
The pattern of squares tells you nothing. A code for a real payment page and a code for a fake one look exactly alike.
Your camera does not check
It shows you a link and waits for you to tap. It does not ask whether the link is safe, because that was never its job.
Nobody reads the link
The banner appears for a second, in small grey text, while you are standing at a parking meter in the rain. Almost everyone taps straight through it.
A sticker costs four seconds
That is how long it takes to cover a real code with a fake one. On a meter, a menu, a parcel locker. Nobody looks twice at a QR code.
What ScanLikely does
It reads the code, follows the link to wherever it really ends up, and tells you what is there. Before the page loads. Then it gets out of the way.
Links
We follow every redirect to the real destination and check it against threat intelligence blocklists. You see where you are going before you go.
WiFi
A WiFi QR code can join you to any network its author chose. We check what you are about to connect to first.
Payments
Payment codes are the ones worth faking. We check the destination before your card details go anywhere.
Social links
We confirm a profile link goes where it claims, not to a copy built to harvest your login.
Sign-in codes
Login QR codes are a growing target at work. We support WebAuthn, FIDO2, and SSO flows, and check them before you approve.
